Rhonda Chinn Obituary

Rhonda Lee Chinn, age 51, of Nine Mile River, passed away on July 17, 2015 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Windsor, NS on April 23, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Embert and Dorothy (Anthony) Northup. Rhonda worked as a CCA at the Magnolia. She loved taking care of people and always put others before herself, even during her lengthy battle with cancer, which she fought with dignity and grace. Her friendly, outgoing spirit brightened the lives of all those around her. Rhonda is survived by her children, Benjamin (Megan), Nicholas (Samantha), Jacob, and Joshua; their father, Victor Chinn; her brothers, Stephen (Wendy), Derrick, and Terry (Jennifer); several nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Brenda Schnare. Cremation has taken place; visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21 from 7-9pm, with a memorial service on Wednesday, July 22 at 2pm, both at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. Following the service there will be a private family committal in St. Stephens Anglican Church Cemetery, Stanley, with a reception in the Stanley Community Hall.
