Rodney Earl Laffin-60, Centre Burlington, passed away suddenly on November 30, 2012. Born Nov 25, 1952 In East, Walton, he was a son of the late Armond and Audrey (White) Laffin. Rodney was a heavy equipment operator and worked in construction all his life. He is survived by common law wife Debbie (Hood), Son: Kenny (Donzell) Laffin daughters: Kathy Laffin (Fred Smith), and Shelley (Robert) Smith, all of Burlington grandchildren: Marley, Nicole, Kyla, Ryan great Grandchildren: Alyssia, Adian Brothers: Curtis (Carla) Fraser Lake, BC, Aaron (Sherri) East Walton, Sisters: Ann Smith, Windsor, Edith (Onslow) Keeping, Cornwall, PE, Dianne (Bob) Wilkinson, Halls Harbour, Laurelei ( Greg) Mahar, Windsor, Cecelia (Calvin) Taylor, East Walton and Lisa (Rick) Laffin, Minasville, sister-in-law: Anita Laffin, Newport. Besides his parents, Rodney was predeceased by brothers: Douglas, Gordon, and Eddie and Brother-in-law: Mike Smith. Cremation has taken place with visitation being held Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. in the Brooklyn Civic Centre, Brooklyn. Private family burial at a later date.
