Obituary of Betty Bonn

BETTY ALICE (Borgal) BONN, 84, of Windsor, NS, formerly of Downsview, ON, passed away peacefully at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Born on February 14, 1931 in Jeddore, NS, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Violet (Harlow) Borgal, Oyster Pond/Jeddore, NS. Betty lived a full and productive life, having had a variety of rewarding jobs, including managing a high school cafeteria for many years and working for Ontario Tourism at Black Creek Pioneer Village. She loved life at their cottage in Fenelon Falls, ON, and enjoyed boating and spending time on the rivers and lakes of the Kawarthas. She was an avid painter and also enjoyed wood carving. Betty and Russ spent many years square dancing as members of several clubs, both in Canada and the United States. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Russell; son, Charles (Nancy); and one granddaughter, Nicole. She was predeceased by her parents and several siblings. Cremation has taken place, with no visitation or service by request, with a private burial at a later date.
