Obituary of Clifford Gould

Gould, Clifford Wade, age 82, of Walton, passed away at home on Friday, September 5, 2015 with his family at his side. Born in Walton on June 6, 1933, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Marjorie (Ettinger) Gould. Cliff was employed at Fundy Gypsum for most of his working life. He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry projects, and caring for his lawn and property. Cliff is survived by his wife, Sally Ann (Cook, Publicover); daughters, Elaine (David) Zimmer, Flin Flon, M.B.; and Shelly Meadows, Russell, M.B.; sons, Bill (Liju) Publicover, and Michael Publicover, both of Calgary, Alta.; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby, Pauline, Margaret, Edie, Mildred, and Rita; brothers, David, Wilson, Ray, and Alfred; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Cliff was predeceased by his brothers, Les, Kenny, and Harry; and grandson Brian. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 1pm in the Grace United Church Cemetery, Lois Brison-Brown officiating. Donations in memory of Cliff may be made to the Grace United Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Lorna Burbidge, 9 Shore Road, Walton, NS, B0N2R0.
