Obituary of Beata Marsters

Please share a memory of Beata to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Beata Hildegard Ruth Marsters (Fiegler), age 75, of Cheverie. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and mother-in-law, Beata on Saturday September 19, 2015 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born March 15, 1940 in Berlin, Germany, Beata immigrated with her family to Canada in December 1956. It was the last day of June 1958 when she met her future husband of 53 years, Everett Marsters, in Cheverie, where they subsequently settled and built their home and Beata was welcomed into two large and loving families. Beata began work at Camp Hill as a nursing assistant, then joined Maritime Tel & Tel in 1958 working in the Revenue Dept until she retired as a full-time homemaker. A warm, supportive, encouraging and perceptive person, Beata was a loving wife, mother, family member and friend. She was a dignified and refined lady with a humble and caring heart, a quick and inquiring mind educated in a wide variety of interests in this world and beyond. We remember her kind blue eyes, her smile and her quick laugh at the funny and joyful things of life. Beata had a great heart for, and knowledge of, all creatures great and small: her furry and feathered friends. She was an accomplished seamstress who used her craft to create a beautiful home. Beata was a gifted artist who used her talents to delight others. She was a woman of faith and family. Beata is survived by her husband, Everett Marsters, Cheverie; daughter Andrea Marsters (William "Bill" Newcomb), Mt. Uniacke; brother Tomas L. Fiegler (Marlene Kay Woods), California; and her cousins in Germany. She was predeceased by her parents, Claus R. Fielger and Marianne M. (Stockter) Fiegler, step-mother Valentina (Gelhaar) Fiegler, and brother Ralph Fiegler. Thank you to Dr. Michele Maclean at the Kennetcook Clinic and to Palliative Care at the Hants Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place; visitation will be held on Wednesday September 23, 2015 from 7-9pm at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, with a memorial service on Thursday September 24 at 2pm at the Cheverie United Church, Rev. Jeff Bursey officiating, assisted by Rev. Florence Antle Brison and Lois Brison Brown. Reception to follow in the church basement; private family interment in Cheverie United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cheverie United Church or Palliative Care at the Hants Community Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville, ph-1-902-633-2431 or please visit our website at www.allenfh.ca to sign the guest book or send private condolences.
