Langley, Emma Maxine (Kitchin) - age 75, of Walton, passed away at home on November 1, 2015. Born in Noel on September 4, 1940, she was a daughter of Madeline Singer-White and the late Charles Kitchin. Maxine was a wonderful baker, who worked at various places including the Sunnyside Restaurant and the store in Walton. She loved playing Bingo, faithfully attended the local dances, and enjoyed keeping up her end of the telephone conversation. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Donald Langley; son, Ricky (Cathy) Elliott; daughters, Marelyn (Danny) Nagle and Wanda (Timmy) Smith; stepchildren, Donald (Angie) Langley, Mary Langley (Michael), Paula (Jamie) Read, Donna (Blair) Brown, and David Langley; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; her mother, Madeline; her sisters, Marelyn White, Evelyn Anthony, and Cathy White; her brother, Donald Kitchin; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Maxine was predeceased by her first husband, Roy Elliott; and son, Charlie Elliott. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5 from 7-9pm, with a funeral service on Friday, November 6 at 2pm, both at the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, Rev. Debra Mosher officiating. Private family interment at Moose Brook Cemetery. Donations in memory of Maxine may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
