Neil, Lorne Reginald "Reg" - age 67, of Gormanville, passed away on November 7, 2015 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Gormanville on August 14, 1948, he was a son of the late Lorne and Emma (Laffin) Neil. Reg will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Doris (Miller); daughters, Jennie (Jeff) Barrett, Enfield; and Julie (Eddie) Smith, Sackville; son, Wade (Dianna) Neil, Gormanville; grandchildren, who knew him as sweet and wonderful Puppie, Amber and Michelle Stewart, Amelia Smith, Gavin and Kayla Barrett, Eddie and Aaron Thompson, and Rebecca Neil; sisters Laura (Grant) White, Noel Road; Doreen Cox, Noel Road; and Adeline Hennigar, Enfield; his extended family: stepmother, Pearl Neil; stepbrothers, Ronnie (Belinda) MacPhee, Noel Road; Dennis (Becky) MacPhee, Rawdon; Bruce (Teddy) MacPhee, Chris (Bonnie) MacPhee, and Ross (Marilyn) MacPhee, Rawdon; stepsisters, Shirley MacPhee (Junior), Rawdon; and Heather MacPhee (Mark), Rawdon; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Reg was predeceased by his sister, Joyce MacLearn; brother, William George in infancy; and stepbrother Charles MacPhee.
