She was a member of St. Matthew's Anglican Church Walton, and also St. James Anglican Church, Newport, as well as a Board member for the Mentally Challenged Windsor Society. Florence is survived by her daughters, Charlotte (Ronald) Roach, Bedford; and Lorraine (Deborah) Bridle, Bridgetown; as well as grandsons Matthew (Dr. Chandra Avery) Roach, Halifax; and Marc (Rebecca Follett) Roach, Wolfville, great-grandchildren Jenna and Ella Roach; a brother, Kenneth (Sylvia) Millard, Newport; a sister, Dorothy (John) Lizotte, Montreal; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Clarence "Clare" Charles Bridle; as well as her brother, Eric Millard (Helen). Cremation has taken place by request. A celebration of her life will take place at St. James Anglican Church in Brooklyn, Hants Co. at 11 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, Rev. E.E. Hill officiating, with interment in St. James Anglican Cemetery. Following the service, a reception will take place in the church hall adjacent to the church and everyone is invited to attend. Family flowers only. Florence would be honored to have any donations in her memory given to the SPCA Hants Branch, Box 2274, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0.
