Charles Wayne McLellan Obituary

McLellan, Charles "Wayne", age 67, of Three Mile Plains, passed away on February 17, 2016 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in East Walton on May 4, 1948, he was a son of the late Percy "Addison" and Annie (Kerr) McLellan. Wayne worked at Nova Scotia Textiles for 34 years. He enjoyed camping, and his greatest love in life was his family. Wayne is survived by his wife, Gladys (McCarthy); his son, Sheldon (Sara), Sweets Corner; his daughter, Lisa, Halifax; his granddaughters, Kendra and Kali; his brother, David (Bev), Falmouth; his sisters, Joyce (Clint) Underwood and Gwen Salter, both of Windsor; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brothers, Norman, in infancy, and Bobby; and his brother-in-law, Ted Salter. Cremation has taken place with no service by request; private family interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to send special thanks to Dr. Catherine Smith, the nurses on Unit 200 at Hants Community Hospital, and Amber Phillips in Palliative Care for their care and kindness.
