Obituary of Grace Lake

LAKE, Grace Izetta - age 89, of Falmouth, formerly of Bramber and Windsor, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 27, 2016 at Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born on February 4, 1927 in Cambridge, Hants County, she was the daughter of the late Roswell and Elsie (Brown) Lake. Grace was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She worked for many years in Windsor. When Grace was able, she regularly made time to visit the sick and elderly. She always greeted them with a smile and homemade treats. Grace is survived by her nephews, Ron (Margie) Lake, Westlock, AB; Ken (Karen) Tucker, Dartmouth; and Maurice (Rosemarie) Tucker, Bramber. Grace was predeceased by her sister, Mildred Tucker, and her two brothers, Stafford and Norman Lake. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, followed by a funeral service at 2pm, both at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Private family interment will follow at Bramber Cemetery. Family flowers only.
