Obituary of Robert "Bobby" Young

YOUNG - Robert "Bobby" Laurie Lester, age 61, of Windsor. The family of the late Robert Young are saddened to announce his sudden passing at home on June 17, 2016. Born in Centre Burlington on May 2, 1955, he was the son of the late Laurie and Leta (Card) Young. Robert was known for his many jokes, and his love of music and sports. He enjoyed his breakfast at Walkers and coffee at McDonald's with his good friends Steven and Joyce Rogers. Robert is survived by his sisters, Juanita Gallant, Rosalie Macumber, and Hazel Harvie, all of Windsor; sister-in-law, Julia Young; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brothers, Winton Young and Fred Young; brothers-in-law, Lester Sanford, Bill Gallant, Robert Macumber, and Raymond Harvie. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00pm at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating, with a reception to follow at the Centre Burlington Community Hall. Private family interment at Card Beach Road Cemetery, Centre Burlington.
