Obituary of Adreu White

WHITE - Adreu Deane, age 72, of North Noel Road, passed away on September 7, 2016 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Noel Road on January 25, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Prescott and Edith (Singer) White. Adreu was a strong, independent woman with a big heart. She enjoyed going on drives to watch airplanes, and her wheelchair did not limit her love of bass fishing and hunting. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and cards and doing puzzles, and appreciated visits from her friends and family, who were everything to her. Adreu is survived by her husband, Wilmot "Whiz" White; her children, Jane (Rod) Densmore, Robin (Yvonne) White, and Carl (Melissa) White; her grandchildren, Shaun, Lisa, Jeremy, Zachary, Chloe, Liam, Lilly, and Roderick; great-grandchildren, Tucker and Kaleb; brothers, Perry and Jack; sisters, Betty, Madeline, Iris, and Aileen; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Adreu was predeceased by her brothers, Earlin, Max, and Wilfred; and sisters, Arlene, Isabelle, and Ethel. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2pm at St. James Presbyterian Cemetery, Noel Road, Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating.
