CROWELL - Christine "Chrissy" Elizabeth, age 50, of Middle Sackville, passed away at home on January 23, 2017. Born in Halifax on May 3, 1966, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Joan Maxwell. Chrissy spent much of her working life in car sales, a job she enjoyed almost as much as spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Chrissy is survived by her husband, John; sons, Matthew (Meaghan) and Joshua (Tiffany); grandchildren, Wyatt and Brooklyn and step-grandson Gavin; brother, Mike (Heather) Maxwell; sister, Marilyn (Bill) Vincent; birth mother, Heather (Emerson) Dunphy; birth siblings, Elizabeth (Jim), Paul (Paula), Roger (Shelly), Brenda (Scott), and Troy (Jacklyn); foster brothers, Scott, David, and Donnie; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville on Thursday, January 26 from 7-9pm. Following cremation, a graveside memorial service will be held at Bramber Cemetery on Sunday, January 29 at 2pm, Pastor Burt Walsh officiating.
