BRISON - Wesley Gordon, age 84, of Windsor, passed away on January 25, 2017 at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, after a short illness. Born in Cheverie on May 24, 1932, he was the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (Weatherbee) Brison. Wesley was retired from Nova Scotia Liquor License Board and Nova Scotia Registry of Motor Vehicles where he worked as a Weights & Loads Inspector. He had a huge love for all animals, especially his dogs, as well as being a very kind and loving father, husband and grandfather and friend to many. He will be missed by all. Wesley is survived by his daughter, Karen Redden and his son, Karmen (Sheila Doucette), all of Windsor, NS; his granddaughter Caitlin, (Stacey Lamrock), Edmonton, AB; grandson, Tyler Brison, Fort McMurray, AB; step-grandson, David Seaboyer (Terri-Lynn Cooze), Sackville, NS; step great-granddaughter, Abigail Seaboyer; brother, Clifford; and sister, Maude. Besides his parents, Wesley was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Ruth (Saunders) Brison; his brothers, George and Lawrence; and his sisters, Beatrice, Lucy, Edith, Jean, and Elsie. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 30 at 2pm at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville, Rev. Bill Gibson officiating, with a private family committal at Riverside Cemetery.
