Marshall, Francis "Frank" Ernest, 85, of Summerville, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on February 6, 2017 at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor on March 30, 1931, he was the son of the late Joseph and Matilda (Bourgeois) Marshall. Frank was one of the original founding members of the Summerville Volunteer Fire Department, a long-time member of Fundy Camp, Baxter's Harbour; a life member of Legion Branch 009, Windsor, and long-time member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lower Burlington. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Frank is survived by daughter Kathy (Murray) of Summerville, son Wade (Wendy) Marshall of Lower Sackville, son Fred at home, grandchildren Andrew, Tara, Arielle, Jaclyn and Stephanie; great-grandchildren Dawson, Skie, William and Dresden; and sister Colleen (Ralph) Langille of Windsor. Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife, Winnifred "Winnie" (Spencer); his sisters, Hilda, Nora, Ivy, and Louise; brothers, Sam, George, Charlie, Murray, John, Joseph, Raymond, James, and Donny; and an infant brother, Owen. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10 from 7-9pm at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville; with a funeral service on Saturday, February 11 at 11am at Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lower Burlington, Pastor Jerry Kendrick officiating, with a private family committal at Loyal Hill Cemetery.
