MCCULLOCH - June Isabel, age 88, of Tennecape, passed away at home on February 16, 2017. Born in Tennecape on May 16, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Nancy (White) McLellan. June loved quilting and going out to the local dances. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis; and sons, Hollis and Kevin, all at home; sister, Laura Legere, Ontario; honorary granddaughter, Jennifer MacEachern; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, June was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; and brothers, Chester, Donald, Murray, and Robie. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20 from 7-9pm, with a funeral service on Tuesday, February 21 at 2pm, both at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. Private interment in Moose Brook Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of June may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 5826 South St, Halifax, NS B3H 1S6 or Noel United Church c/o Betty Miller, Hwy 215, Noel Shore, RR1 Maitland, NS BON 1TO.
