McLELLAN - Margaret Joan, age 77, of Scotch Village, passed away on March 19, 2017 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Bramber on April 23, 1939, she was a daughter of the late George and Minnie (Morris) Macumber. Margaret was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved the beach, and enjoyed cooking and getting together for family events. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. At the time of her passing, Margaret was survived by her husband of 59 years, Emery, who joined her in eternity on March 20, 2017. She is also survived by her children, Joan (Frank) Anthony, Windsor; Neil (Donna), Windsor; and James (Donna), Alberta; grandchildren, Mitchell McLellan, Sarah Allen, Ryan Anthony, Jesse Giles, and James Giles; great-grandchildren, Jaelyn and Jayce Allen; sister, Edie, Truro; brothers, Pat, Windsor; Basil (Annette), Ontario; Rollie (Tina), Alberta; and Stevie, Truro; stepbrother, James; stepsisters, Grace, Joan, and Ella; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest, Robert, and Cecil; and sister-in-law, Beatrice. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request; a private interment at Avonview Cemetery will be held at a later date.
