Obituary of Anthony Walter Richard
RICHARD – Anthony “Tony” Walter, age 56, of Windsor, passed away suddenly at home on May 18, 2017. Born in Bridgewater on October 23, 1960, he was the son of Walter and Joan Richard of Windsor. A fan of Pink Floyd and John Prine, Tony also loved fishing, camping, and his Chevy van. He worked as floor installer for many years in Nova Scotia and Calgary, Alberta. He will be missed by his common-law wife, Elaine “Sadie” (Hersom-Petersen) Lake; daughters, Marica Richard (Jeremy) and Vanessa Richard, Calgary; stepchildren, Amy (Colin) Ross, Eric Lake, and Ian Lake; grandson Joseph, granddaughters Kaitlyn, Emily, and Hailey Ross; brother Andy (Debby) Richard, and nieces Andrea, Amy, and Sarah Richard. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request; a memorial service will be held at 1pm on Monday, May 29 at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Rev. Garnet Parker officiating, with a private committal at Avon View Cemetery, Kempt Shore.
