Obituary of Vera Madeline White
Vera “Madeline” White, age 95, of North Noel Road, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2017 at the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Blackrock, N.S. on February 4, 1922, she was the daughter of the late George and Emma (Algee) Gould. Madeline enjoyed bingo, cards, and horseraces; and was an excellent seamstress for her family and community. Madeline is survived by daughters Marelyn (Clifford), Evelyn, Kathy (Frank), and son Donald; many grandchildren, great- and great great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Madeline was predeceased by her three husbands, Charlie Kitchin, Gerald Singer, and John White; daughter Maxine, sisters, Vivian Fenton, Velma Thornton, and Violet Turple; and brother, Bill Gould. Thank you to the workers at Dykeland Lodge for their care. No visitation by request; a funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 10 at 2:30pm at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook, Rev.
