Obituary of Emma Brewer

Brewer, Emma Kathleen-63, Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax, formerly of Noel Road, passed away on March 17, 2013 at Arborstone Enhanced Care. Born in Noel Road on December 15, 1949, she was a daughter of Frank Greene and the late Janie (Anthony) Greene. Emma enjoyed her life with family and friends and always devoted her love towards her children and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Heather Brewer (Todd Snook), Hammonds Plains, sons Ken (Kristan), Noel Shore, Joey (Roseanne), Debert and Dean, Camrose, Alberta, grandchildren, Josie, Kaitlyn, Kait, Shea, Chase, Dallas, Troy, Morgan, Anthony, David, Tyler and Tamara, sisters Louise Crossman, Margaret Paige, brothers Larry and Joe Greene. Besides her Mother she was predeceased by her husband Ken and nephew Kevin Crossman. Cremation has taken place with visitation Tuesday March 19, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and a memorial service Wednesday at 2 p.m. both in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354, Kennetcook. Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating with a private family burial in the North Noel Road Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. The family would like to thank Nurses and staff at Arborstone for their care and support shown towards their Mother and the family.
