Obituary of Kathleen Lena Hutley

HUTLEY – Kathleen "Kaye" Lena (Arnold), age 84, of Upper Kennetcook, passed away on June 21, 2018 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Kaye was a very independent person and maintained her independence throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed all-day shopping trips in the city and continued to do so right up until her recent illness. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her huge collection of books. Kaye was a true animal lover and was quick to provide a meal to any stray cat that happened to stop by. She loved music and loved to dance in her earlier years. She spent many summers at her garage sales enjoying company and conversation from people both near and far. Kaye was always mindful of her health and enjoyed good health for most of her life. Kathleen is survived by her son, Ronny (Sharon), Kennetcook; her grandchildren, Chelsey and Kyle; and her sister, Barbara Gordon of Toronto, with whom she stayed in close contact. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Hutley. Cremation has taken place with no service by request.
