Mumford (Densmore), Velma Madeline - 86, East Noel, passed away April 11, 2013 with her children by her side at Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born May 6, 1926 in East Noel, Velma was the daughter of the late Ervin and Viola (Singer) Densmore. She was a member of the Noel United Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Maitland. She is survived by her children Garry, Lower Sackville; Clara Vroegh, East Noel; Myles (Bonny), Minasville; Lindsay (Marleigh), Minasville; Tony (Pamela), East Noel; grandchildren Andrew and Sarah Mumford; Phillip, Krista, Trudy, Scott Vroegh and their father Eef Vroegh; Jeanette Mumford, Amy Hunter, Greg Mumford; Jana Miller and Julie Custance; Shayna, Joshua and Chloe Mumford; 21 great grandchildren. Velma is also survived by her siblings Eldridge Densmore (Ruby), Bedford; Becky (Doug) Beattie, Bible Hill; May Shunamon (Bedford); Mattie (Eric) Boyd, Bedford. She was predeased by her husband Ervin Mumford, brothers Wilmot and Dalton, daughter-in-law Peggy Mumford, grandson Curtis Vroegh. Cremation has taken place with visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday April 14, 2013 in J Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354, Kennetcook. A Memorial service Monday at 2:30 p.m. April 15, 2013 in Noel United Church, Rev Nathalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. Private family burial in Noel Cemetery followed by a reception in the Church Hall. Family flowers only.
