Obituary of Russell Welsford Bonn

BONN, Russell Welsford, age 86, of Windsor, NS, passed away peacefully at Hants Community Hospital on November 6, 2018. Born in Walton, NS on July 11, 1932, he was the son the late Russell and Ruby (Brown) Bonn. Russ served ten years in the Canadian Navy and then worked as an industrial electrician in Manitoba and Ontario. He and his wife, Betty, enjoyed years of square dancing and playing cards, and greatly enjoyed time spent at their cottage in Fenelon Falls, Ontario before moving back to Nova Scotia. Russell is survived by his son, Charles (Nancy), Windsor; a granddaughter, Nicole, Dartmouth; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty, and several brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place with funeral arrangements to be made at a later date. Donations in memory of Russ may be made to Diabetes Canada, 137 Chain Lake Dr, Halifax, NS B3S 1B3.
