SPENCER, Murray Archibald, 60 of Truro formally of North Noel Rd. passed away on August 31, 2019 in Truro. Born in Noel Road on October 5, 1958. He was the son of the late Baxter Singer and Alice malally.

Murray loved spending time with family & friends - he enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting & riding his motorcycle and skidoo. Murray had a deep love for all animals and adored his pets.

Murray is survived by brothers Clarence, Cleveland “Doc”, sister Albertha. Stepchildren Laurie, Buddy and several nieces & nephews.

Murray was predeceased by his wife Karen, brothers Reg & Nelson, sister Susan, sister in law Hattie, and brother in law David.

Special thanks to Dr. MacLean, The Assisted Living Program in Truro, and Cindy Harrison for her compassion and friendship, who spent many hours caring for Murray over the past few years.

Last but not least, close friends, Richard and Bob.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal service will be held Sunday, September 8th at 1pm in the St. James Presbyterian Cemetery, Rev. Natalie Rutherford-Buchannan officiating. Donations in memory of Murray can be made to the St James Presbyterian Cemetery, c/o Golda White, White Settlement Rd. RR# 2 Kennetcook NS B0N 1P0
