Bernard-Ruth Ann, nee Starratt- 62 of Halifax, passed away peacefully at the QE2 (new infirmary site), Halifax on December 7th, 2019.Born January 28, 1957 in Windsor, she was the daughter of Wilbur Starratt (stepmother Charlotte) and her mother the late Shirley Starratt

She is survived by the greatest joys in her life her girls, daughters Julia Bugden (Andy), Angie Bernard (Jonathan Jamison) and granddaughter Wren Bugden. Also survived by her sisters Cheryl Levy, Pam Marks (Wayne), Sarah McMillan (Matt Bradley), brothers, Raymond Starratt (Pat), Bernard Starratt. 

Ruth Ann is predeceased by her brother in law Alan Levy.

Ruth Ann may have been tiny in stature, but her heart was huge. Her compassion for people and animals was selfless and her appreciation for anything that was done for her was genuine.
