Robert D. G. White, "Bob" Born Aug 6 1935 in Minasville, Hants County; his cherished home for all his 77 years, passed away on Aug 9 2012 in QE2 hospital following years of deteriorating health, with family at his side. Bob was the neighbourhood news man, kid teaser and teller of the occassional tall tale. Whether being jovial or gruff, it all came from a big heart of gold. Bob was the son of the late Abner and Vera (McCulloch) White and also predeceased by brothers Floyd, Muir, Hedley, and John; sisters Elva, Irma, Esther, Deane, Elaine and Barbara. He is survived by wife Marelyn (Kitchin), sons Billy(Darlene),Truro, Kendall,Debert, Tim, Ont. and Robin, Halifax, grandchildren Jessie and Emily, great-granddaughter Madison; sisters Dorothy (Rawdon) and Ila (Boutouche). Sincere thanks to Aaron, extended family, and staff of Centennial Building ICU 3-A for care and support. Per his wishes, a graveside service will be held at Moose Brook Cemetery for immediate family only.
