Cameron, Edward Leroy "Ed"-65, Noel Road, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2013 at home. Born in North Noel Road, he was a son of Nora (White) and the late Donald Cameron. Ed thoroughly enjoyed working for MT&T for 29 years as a "linesman" and constrution foreman and always looked forward to working with co-workers. He was a great chevy man and Dale Ernhart fan and loved to fish. He always held high respect for family and friends and will be dearly missed by them all. Ed is survived by his wife Sandra "Nicki" (Forsyth), daughter Debbie (Mike) Hillier, son Gary (Krista O'Connell), grandsons Bryce and Joel Hillier, sister Geraldine Cameron. He was predeceased by a brother Clevland in infancy. Cremation has taken place with visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday May 12, in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354, Kennetcook. A graveside committal service (open to all) will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Noel Road Cemetery, White Settlement Road,Rev. Angus R. MaDonald officating, followed by a reception in the Noel Road Community Hall. Donations in memory of Ed can be made to the Noel Road Cemetery or charity of choice, c/o Goldie White, White Settlement Rd. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
