Leopold-Chesley Jerome- 90 of Leminster passed away peacefully in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor on December 16th, 2019. Born January 12th, 1929 in Leminster, he was the son of the late Robie and Majorie (Wile) Leopold. Chesley had various occupations throughout his life including truckdriver, farming, woodsman and working in a sawmill. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Dykeland Lodge and the Hants Community Hospital for their compassionate care for Chesley especially granddaughter Betty-Jo Leopold. Chesley is survived by sons Owen (Mary) and Kerry (Linda), daughter Avis Leopold, grandson Jamie (Amanda), granddaughters Lisa (Gary), Ashley (Ash), Kristen and Betty-Jo (Lewis), great grandchildren Breah, Kiley, Makayla, Wyatt, Brayden and Kassidy, sisters Ella Boehner, Merna Kelly and Linda Mugridge, half brother Geoffery (Muriel) Dauphine. He is predeceased by brother Harley Leopold. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life on Friday December 20th from 1pm to 3 in the South West Hants Firehall 1884 Hwy 14 Vaughan. Rev. Garnet Parker to lead in a few words. A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Baptist Cemetery in the Forties.
