White, Eva Mahala- 86, passed away peacefully at the Mira in Truro on April 26th, 2020. Born in North Noel Road on November 23rd, 1933, she was the daughter of the late William and Louise (McCulloch) Green. Eva lived in Kennetcook most of her life until she moved to the Mira in 2018. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at Scotia Nursing Home, Beaverbank for over 25 years until her retirement. She loved to quilt, do embroidery and her Thursday night cards at Ella’s. She enjoyed road trips, yard sales and dining out. Mom worked hard all her life and faced many personal struggles but showed a strength beyond words. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church Noel Road and Noel Road Community Club and always lent a hand to those in need. She will be missed by all who knew her. Eva is survived by her daughter Marsha Caddell (David). daughter in law Trudy White and her grandchildren whom she loved dearly and was so proud of Penny Wesley(Ronnie), Paula White(Brad McCallum), Trevor Caddell(Katie Underhill), Patrick Caddell, great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Natalie, Allison, Jensen, Logan great- great- grandchild Ahlea. Brother Tommy (Rae) and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Elmer “Em”, daughter JoAnne, sons Roger, John, Glenn grandsons Timothy and Tyler. Special thanks to the staff at the Mira for their kind and compassionate care. We are truly grateful that we were able to spend time with her during this trying time. Cremation has taken place. Due to the current Nova Scotia Health regulations concerning the Covid-19 Virus, there will be a graveside committal service held at a later date in the St James Presbyterian Cemetery. Service

Cremation has taken place. Due to the current Nova Scotia Health regulations concerning the Covid-19 Virus, there will be a graveside committal service held at a later date in the St James Presbyterian Cemetery.
