Anthony, Juanita Louise- 83 of Enfield It is with deep sadness that we announce Juanita's passing, on May 1, 2020, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro, after a courageous, eighteen-year battle with cancer, being with a Stage Four diagnosis in 2002. Her positive attitude was an inspiration to all, as she battled against five different kinds of cancer. Born in Noel on March 4th,1937 she was the daughter of the late Borden and Edna (Singer) Densmore. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and great friend to many. Juanita will be remembered for her generosity and big heart by all that knew her. Juanita taught school for thirty-three and a half years. She began in a one room schoolhouse in Noel. She then moved to an Airforce Base in Beaver Bank, and ended her long career at Sackville Centennial School, teaching Primary for many years. She was always ready to lend a helping to anyone who reached out to her. Born in Noel, Hants County, she resided in Enfield for a short time with her daughter, after living many years in Beaver Bank. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Anthony, (Enfield); grandson, Zachary Bartulik, (Enfield); granddaughter, Paige Bartulik, (Halifax); brother, Eric Densmore, (Noel); sisters, Janice Hart, (Noel), and Shelda MacPhee, (Middle Sackville); many nieces and nephews, and daughter by choice, Brenda MacDougall West, (Winnipeg). She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Anthony. Due to the current Nova Scotia Health regulations concerning the Covid-19 Virus, there will be a Private family committal service held in the St Stephens Anglian cemetery, Stanley, Hants County at a later date. Donations in memory of Juanita can be made to the Noel United Church. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro for their care and compassion. My Hero You held my hand, when I was small; you caught me when I fell. You're the hero of my childhood, and my later years, as well. Every time I think of you, my heart still fills with pride. Though, I will always miss you, Mum, I know you're by my side. In laughter and sorrow, sunshine and through rain, I know you’re watching over me; until we meet again. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354, Kennetcook, ph-1-902-362-2440 or please visit our web site at www.allenfh.ca to sign the guest book and send private condolences.
