Lloyd, (Hiltz) Marguerite “Marg” Lavinia – 78 of Upper Rawdon, It is with the profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Lloyd on May 8, 2020 at the QEII Health Science Centre in Halifax after suffering a sudden heart attack at home. Marg was born in Halifax on March 20, 1942, the eldest daughter of the late Earl and Jennie Hiltz. She was always thoughtful, caring and possessed strong Christian values. She will be remembered as a most loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, big sister, and friend. Her love was unconditional and her kindness and generosity limitless. Her greatest treasures were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Marg found joy in the simple things in life; a swim in the pool, a day thrift store shopping, having lunch out, yard sale shopping, special events at her church, hummingbirds, or the first strawberries of the season. These things always brought a smile to her face. Marg is survived by her husband Dean Lloyd (Upper Rawdon), her daughter Karen (Dean) Wile (Upper Rawdon), her son Wayne (Patty) Lloyd (Elmsdale), her daughter Diana (Scott) MacEachern (Prospect), grandchildren Megan (Stephen) Jefferies (Upper Rawdon), Johnathan (Michelle) Wile (Kennetcook), Kendall Wile (Krista Redmond), Maddie Lloyd (Elmsdale), Joseph Carroll (New Glasgow), Mickayla Carmichael (Leslie Weatherbee), Tomas MacEachern (Prospect), and great grand children, Charlie and Amelia Jefferies (Upper Rawdon), James, Cheyenne, Michael (Kennetcook) and Jasper and Rylee (South Rawdon) two sisters, Joan Hiltz (Toronto), Janet (Albert) Hiltz-Resk (Bedford), and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Due to the current Nova Scotia Health regulations concerning the Covid-19 Virus, there will be a private family committal service held at a later date.
