Obituary of Elaine Redden

Redden, Elaine Barbara – 70 of Kempt Shore, it is with heavy hearts to announce the sudden passing on September 23rd, 2020 at her home in Kempt Shore. Born in Cambridge on November 8th, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Percy and Melba (Spearing) Lake. Elaine spent most of her working career as a member of the Dykeland Lodge staff in Windsor. She was a caregiver and foster parent to many. Elaine loved spending time with her family and life companion of 14 years, Garwin. She loved growing and admiring her flowers and spending time at the beach as often as she could. She is survived by companion Garwin Burgess, sons Colin Redden (Rose), Terry Gray (Jen), daughters Angela McLellan, Erica Redden, Bev (Rob) Amos, Kim (Ronnie) Trider and many foster kids, 13 grandchildren, sister Sandra Wilcox, brothers Tim (Shirley) Lake, David (Anne) Spearing, Henry (Paula) Lake, and many nieces and nephews. Elaine is predeceased by spouse Gary Redden and foster brother Rodger Martin. A private family burial will take place at High Head Cemetery, Cambridge at a later date.
