James Vincent Cooke-passed away on December 23, 2020 in the QEll Halifax at the age of 78. Born in Halifax on November 29th, 1942, he was a son of the late Ernest and Sadie Cooke (Murphy).
Jim lived a full life filled with family and friends who meant everything to him. He was always planning his next road trip, asking Bev every morning “Where are we going today?”
Jim is survived by his wife Beverly “Bev”, his children Charmaine, Jim,John, Tina Nadeau and their families. Stepsons Matthew and Quincy Eccles. Sisters Valerie (Jack Simmons), Cecile, Mary and brothers Bob {Debbie}, Gerald (Silva), Mike (Cheryl) and Gordie (Laura).
Besides his parents Jim was predeceased by his daughter Cathy, sister Maureen and brothers Clifford and Bill.
Jim will be dearly missed by his in-laws and extended family.
A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date.
Donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
