Obituary of Dollie Bouchard

Bouchard, Dollie Elizabeth – 88 of Walton, passed away on May 25th, 2021 at her home in Walton with family by her side. Born in Halifax, NS on July 25th, 1932 she was the daughter of the late James and Caroline (Rankin) Glawson. Dollie & her husband enjoyed bingo all their lives but after the death of her husband she moved to Edmonton, AB where her favorite hobby was still bingo and she would attend afternoon and evenings every day of the week. She later resided in Walton, NS where she enjoyed staying close to home watching her favorite two teams play on tv, the Edmonton Oilers and the Toronto Blue Jays. Dollie loved her family very much and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Dollie is survived by her Children Frederick (Faye) Bouchard – Sarnia, Ontario, Colleen (Terry) Byttynen – Walton, Nova Scotia, Daniel (Cathy) Bouchard – Halifax, Nova Scotia, Elizabeth (Jeff) Booth – Calgary, Alberta, Grandchildren Kelly, Richard, Dennis, Kerri Anne, Melanie and Taylor and 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents Dollie is predeceased by Husband Frederick “Buddy” Bouchard, Brothers Walter, Edison, Clarence, Arthur and John, Sisters Greta and Phyllis “Tootie”, Grandson Collin and 1 great grandchild. There will be a private family burial on Saturday May 29th, at 3pm in the Grace United Church Cemetery, Walton Rev. Debbie Mosher officiating.
