Such a hard worker, and so very proud. Phyllis had so many accomplishments because of her diligence. She never had a mean word to say about anyone, and was always ready to take on a challenge. I'm so glad I had the chance to be friends with Phyllis at Mount Saint Vincent, and we were able to keep in touch after we graduated. Thinking of you, Phyllis, and the lovely lady you had become. Phyllis was a dedicated and caring teacher.She always worked to get the best for her students and understood their needs.
She was a very special and private person and took great care of her family.
The years we worked together at Dr. Arthur Hines Elementary gold many fond memories.

To you Dear Phyllis - always caring and thinking of everyone else - very private and "tough shell to break"! Through out all our trips to appointments and treatments we became friends...yet you still remained at a "safe distance". You told about your travels and your teaching career and often spoke so fondly of your friend of so many years Mary. You spoke of caring lovingly for your Dad,Mom and Kevin; also of your fears of failing to care for Hollis. Your family knows well how much you tried and all the sacrifices you made to put all others first.Hollis will be cared for now by others and all will be OK. Rest well Dear Phyllis. I wish your family and friends had been able to reach your private heart sooner and help you more. You have a special place in Heaven and will be thought of fondly and often by many.

Sorry to hear of Phyllis’s passing. We were roommates at the Mount for 3 yrs. She was a great roommate. Although we rarely saw each other since, I always looked forward to her Christmas card each year. Rest In Peace dear Phyllis!

I worked with Phillis at DAHS. She was always calm and a great person to work with. I never heard her say a mean word about anyone. i use to see her in Windsor from time to time but have not seen her recently. You could tell she loved her family and her students had all her devotion when in her class.

Phyllis was my favourite teacher in elementary school. She was such a wonderful and caring soul, I’ve thought of her often throughout the years. She inspired and nurtured my love of books, and l am forever grateful for the world she opened up to me in doing so. Rest peacefully beautiful lady.
