Obituary of Harold Crossley

Crossley, Harold W.- 89 , Gladys Manning Place Windsor, passed away on July 1st, 2013 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Cheverie, he was the son of the late Reuben and Elsie ( Smith) Crossley. Harold was a long standing Legion member and served overseas 1939-1945 in the Provost Corp. He worked for CNR Police for 35 years in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He was a member of the Windsor Baptist Church as well as an active member of other Baptist Churches serving on several boards, board of Deacons and Sunday School teacher. Harold will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Alice ( Dill), sons Harry( Susan), Rothesay N.B., Brian, Riverview N.B., daughter Jennifer Gail, Salisbury N.B., grandchildren Ian and Anna, sister in law Mickey Crossley, Cheverie, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Merton. Visitation from 1-2 pm Thursday July 4th followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. both in the J Wilson Allen Funeral Home Hwy 215 Summerville. Rev. Jeffrey White officiating with buriel in High Head Cemetery Cambridge. Donations in memory can be made to the Windsor Baptist Church, Kempt United Baptist Church, or charity of choice.
