Obituary of Ronald McKinley

McKinley, Ronald Arthur – 73 of Cheverie passed away on December 13th, 2021, at his beloved home in Cheverie with a good fire burning with the wood he cut and split. Born in Cheverie on February 19th, 1948, he was the son to the late Arthur and Eva (Macumber) McKinley. Ronald was a jack-of-all-trades and proved to be a master of all; building his own house and willing to take on any project put in front of him. He was an electrician by trade and could fix anything, even if he was unfamiliar with what he was fixing. Ronald loved animals and animals loved him. A true “Shore boy”, he was proud of his roots and where he came from. He loved to hunt and fish and spent hunting season this year walking to his camp where he left instructions for Donald to keep feeding the deer. Ronald’s daughters cared deeply for him and made it possible for him to spend his remaining time in the comfort of his own home. Ronald is survived by his daughters Nancy (Donald), Gayle (David), grandsons: Michael and Mason, special friend: Frances, furry companion: dog Benje, brothers Ralph and Robert McKinley and sister Annette McKinley. Besides his parents, Ronald is predeceased by wife Anne McKinley and son Jeffrey McKinley.
