Walsh, James “Jim” Bernard – 90 of Windsor formerly of Bramber, passed away on January 26th, 2022, at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Port Union, Newfoundland on March 25th, 1933, Jim was the son to the late James and Mary (Osmond) Walsh. Jim lived a simple and quiet life. He was a very mild-mannered man, kind and generous, who loved God and his church. He spent many hours working on his folk-art crafts, model sailing ships and horse drawn sleighs, most of which he freely gave away. He loved to travel to New Brunswick, where he had friends who he delighted in sharing coffee with. He never had an unkind word to say about anyone. His family and in-laws loved him and shared lots of family time with him. Jim loved his wife Maude and his daughter Cindy, foster daughter Joann, and demonstrated it every day. He had a wonderful sense of humor. While out driving one day he spotted a big chair thrown out in a field. He said with a straight face “why would anyone want to sit out there when there is no way to plug in the tv.” He will be missed by all. Jim is survived by Wife Maude, daughter Cindy (Wayne), foster daughter Joann, grandchildren Axel and Parker, sister Jean Peircey, brother George and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Jim is predeceased by brother Mike. Donations in memory of Jim can be made to the Bramber Cemetery Fund c/o Dawn Barkhouse. There will be a Graveside Committal Service held in the Spring of 2022. Gathering limits and restrictions will be updated pending Covid-19 regulations at the time of service.
