Obituary of James Ettinger

Ettinger, James “Jim” Robert – 75 of Kennetcook passed away January 31st, 2022, in the QEII Hospital, Halifax. Born in Windsor on November 12th, 1946, he was the son to the late Clyde and Norma (Ackles) Ettinger. Jim grew up in a military family living in various places around the World until settling in Kennetcook. He enjoyed watching sports, fishing, playing poker, a round of golf with his buddies, and singing with good company and a cold beer. Jim will be forever remembered for his uplifting personality and great taste in Hawaiian shirts. Jim is survived by his estranged wife Sandra Vaughn, sons Grant Ettinger, James Ettinger. Grandchildren Addison, Benjamin, Declan, Nephew David Crozier, nieces zandra Leopold, Cindy Elliott, Melody Robinson, Many great nieces and Nephews, as well as many great great-nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Jim is predeceased by sisters Dianne Richards, Lynda Rines, nephew Eugene Crozier Donations in memory of Jim can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation – heartandstroke.ca A Graveside Committal Service will be held in the Kennetcook Cemetery at a later date.
