Harvie, Burrel Earldeen - 78, of Gormanville, Nova Scotia, passed away on April 2nd, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in North Noel Road on June 19th,1943, Burrel was the son of the late Ernest and Maggie (Harvey) Harvie. Burrel was a “Jack of all Trades”, working in the trucking and construction industries for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in his garage repairing whatever came his way. He is survived by his common-law wife Rose White; daughter Kim McCulloch (Rick) of Lantz, son Ross of Gormanville, stepson Dewayne White (Angela) of Kennetcook; siblings Sarah White, Victor, both of Gormanville, Glenroy of Halifax, Myrtis White (Edward), and Byrtis (Terri) of Gormanville, sister-in-law Sandra of Mount Uniacke; grandson Nathan, granddaughters Jessica and Hanna, great-grandchildren Layla, Kayson and Avery, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Burrel is predeceased by twin sister Pearl in infancy, brothers Brenton and Lawrence, brother-in-law Rollie White, sister-in-law Mary, and stepson Timothy. A Memorial Service will be held at J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Kennetcook on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, at 11am,Reverend Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. Donations in memory of Burrel may be made to the St. Paul’s United Church, North Noel Road or the North Noel Road Cemetery Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
