Obituary of Hollis McCulloch

McCulloch, Hollis Leroy – 79 of Stewiacke, NS, formerly of Kennetcook, NS passed away on April 22nd, 2022, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in North Noel Road on September 12th, 1942, he was the son of the late Ray and Edith (White) McCulloch of North Noel Road, NS. Hollis spent most of his working life as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. His favorite pastimes were fishing, watching races, baseball, and spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his laugh and grin, his wicked sense of humor, and his tall tales. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, the care you gave Hollis was exceptional. Hollis is survived by his wife Elsie, son Greg (Les), grandchildren Cicely and Wyatt, Stewiacke, daughter Kim McCulloch (Webb) Ken, Kennetcook, and younger brothers Tony, Manitoba and Ellis, North Noel Road. Besides his parents, Hollis is predeceased by brothers Glenwood, Avery, Stanley and sisters Cora Cox and Margaret Baker. Cremation has taken place, Respecting Hollis’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation.
