Crossley, Winnifred “Winnie” Ann – 85 of Windsor, formerly of Summerville, passed away on April 26th, 2022, at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Windsor on December 14th, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Christina “Dolly” (Ogilvie) Underwood.

Winnie spent most of her life living in Summerville where she worked along side her husband, Lewis in the Post Office. She loved her community and going for drives down to the beach to admire the beautiful scenery. Winnie dedicated most of her life to her Lord and Savior and was a long-term member of Glad Tidings Worship Center, Windsor. In later years, Winnie joined her husband Lewis to reside at Dykeland Lodge, where she enjoyed doing puzzles and playing bingo.

Winnie is survived by daughters Linda (Gordon) Brown of Ontario, Beverley (Gil) White of Summerville, son Danny (Debi) Crossley of Summerville, 7 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren, 3 great-greatgrandchildren, brother Charles “Clint” (Joyce) Underwood, sister Barb (Warren) Munroe.

Besides her parents, Winnie is predeceased by husband Lewis and sister Joyce.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and recreation department at Dykeland Lodge.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2022, at 1pm, followed by a service at 2pm, Rev. Kevin Walsh officiating, both in the Kempt United Baptist Church, Summerville. A reception will follow the service in the Summerville Fire Hall.
