Wilfred "Sonny" Whitehead Obituary

Whitehead, Wilfred Windfield – 77 of Beaver Brook NS, passed away on Sunday, June 19th, 2022, in Debert Court Nursing Home. Born in Riverside corner on February 20th, 1945, he was the son to Eveline (Rines) and the late Wilfred Whitehead.


Wilfred spent the majority of his career as a Steel Tier, working all over Nova Scotia. He loved the outdoors and being in nature, his true passion was fishing along side of his friends. Wilfred will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.


Wilfred is survived by his mother Eveline, brother Kenny, sisters Alice Hennigar, Wanda Filek, and brother-in-law Arthur.


Besides his father, Wilfred is predeceased by sister in infancy, brother-in-law Ray Felek.


A private family Committal Service will be held in the St. Croix Cemetery.
