Karen Boyd Obituary
Boyd, Karen Dianna – 61 of Hants Border passed away on July 13th, 2022, in the VG QEII Hospital, Halifax. Born in Iserlohn Germany on May 26th, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Burgess and Dorothy (Smith) Van Tassell.
Karen worked at Frito Lay in Kentville for over 20 years. She was a big lover of animals and loved to take care of her hobby farm.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Carl, daughter Jackie, son Nick (Tabby), grandchildren Aylissa and Brady, siblings Anita, Doug, Brian, Kevin and Alan.
A celebration of Life in memory of Karen will be held on July 30th, 2022, from 2 to 4pm in the Hants Border Community Hall – 13893 Hwy #1. A private family burial will be held in the Hantsport Cemetery at a later date.
