Lane, Joseph George – 80 of Hantsport; it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph on July 28th, 2022, in Valley Reginal Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor on January 4th, 1942, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Laura (Hughes) Lane.
Joseph is survived by his sister Mary Redden of Windsor, brother-in-law Bamford (Annie) Walsh, sister-in-law Sandra Rennie Lane, nephews Shawn a Todd Walsh, Daryl and Matt Lane, Bill Thomas, Wade Redden, nieces Joanne and Kim Redden, Shannon McCarthy and Patti Thomas.
Besides his parents, Joseph is predeceased by wife Mary, brother Peter (May 28th, 2022) and sister Anne (August 2nd, 2018)
Cremation has taken place, respecting Joseph’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date in Hantsport, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.
