Obituary of Marion Didsbury

Didsbury, Marion Ellen – 92 of East Walton passed away on Sunday, December 11th, 2022, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on Easter Sunday, April 20th, 1930, Marion was the first child born to the late Wilfred Arthur and Leota May (Robarts) Gould. Mom did many things in her life, but nothing came ahead of her family. She was a daughter, a sister, a wife. a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also the family matriarch--but a matriarch who governed with abundant love. She was never happier than when we were all gathered together. Marion is survived by her daughter Debra (Alex) Mosher, sons; Richard (Sylvia) Didsbury and Brian (Cheryl) Didsbury, Grandchildren; Matthew (Laura), Ashleigh (Billie), Melissa (Arnold), Corey (Holly), Kyleigh (Adam) and Brian (Sarah), Great-Grandchildren; Mercey (Zach), Daegan (Shannon), Kiera (Eli), Rowan, Greyden, Piper, Emma, Rhys, Sawyer, Wyatt, Kendall, Great-great-grandchildren; Gryffyn, Coleson, Thayn, and Caterina. Marion is also survived by her loving sister Winnifred who brought her great joy with her telephone calls and visits. Marion was predeceased by her husband Leslie in addition to sisters Agnes, Maxine, and Roseanne. A Committal Service will be held in the Stanley Cemetery on Friday, December 16th, 2022, at 2pm, Rev. Debra Mosher officiating. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. The Family would like to thank the nurses and doctors who cared for Mom for the short time she was in the Hants Community Hospital. Their compassion and care were greatly appreciated.
