Crossley, Annie "Ann" Grant-93, Dykeland Lodge, formerly of Bramber, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2013 in Dykeland Lodge. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on July 31, 1920 she was a daughter of the late Mary (Renton) Dobie and step Father William Dobie. Ann came to Canada as a war bride in 1946. She was a loving wife, Mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed knitting, bingo and attending the local jam sessions. Ann was well known in her community for her kindness, sincerity and devotion. She is survived by her sons Edward (Elaine), Johnnie (Anna-Marie), David (Sam) and daughter Eleanor (Arnold) Ritchie, 9 grandchildren, 9 greatgrandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, sisters Jean and Euphamia. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, son Glenn and sister Mae. Visitation will be held tonight from 7-9 p.m. and funeral Tuesday October 1, 13 at 2 p.m. both in the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 215, Summerville. Rev. Garnet Parker officating with a private family burial in the Bramber Cemetery, Bramber.
