Obituary of Reigh Hawbolt

Hawbolt, Reigh Dale 'Deet" -74, Summerville, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Summerville, on September 8, 1939, he was a son of the late Greta (Armstrong). Deet worked for Municipal Contracting for 35 years retiring in 2004. He enjoyed doing yard work and playing his guitar and will be dearly missed by his family and friends and his dogs Misty and Gizmo. Deet is survived by his wife Carol (Taylor), daughters Vicki (Darrell), Bobbi-Jo (Jamie), Holli, granddaughters Natasha, Nikki, Hayley, grandson Dusten, sister Madeleine Acker, nieces Tammy and Wendy. He was predeceased by a brother Earl, Niece Penny and brother-in-law Bobby Acker. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held Sunday October 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Kempt United Baptist Church, Summerville, Pastor Betty Parker officating with a private family burial in the Loyal Hill Cemetery, Summerville. Donations Can be made to the Loyal Hill Cemetery or charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the J.
