Lyghtle, Brian Edward - 76 of Noel Shore passed away on May 13, 2023, surrounded by love at the VG Site, Halifax. Born in Windsor on September 8, 1946, Brian was the son to the late Hughie and Madeline (Foster) Lyghtle of Ellershouse. Brian was a lineman with Nova Scotia Light & Power and Nova Scotia Power for over 35 years. He was Past Master of the WD Lawrence Masonic Lodge in Maitland. He enjoyed trucking, gardening, fishing, hunting, playing hockey, Saturday night dances and telling long stories. He spent many happy times at the camp in Stillwater. Brian is survived by wife Iris (Densmore) and daughter Lindsay (Jason) Brushett, Conception Bay South, NL. Besides his parents, Brian is predeceased by brothers Doug, Gordon and Bob. The family wishes to thank friends and family members who visited Brian. Their love and support during Brian’s stay in hospital was greatly appreciated. A special thanks to Sherry, Grant, Kim, Krista, Terry, Elaine and Catherine who spent days and nights by Brian’s side. A Masonic and Committal Service will be held at the Lower Selma Cemetery on Sunday May 28th at 2:00 PM, Rev. Gary MacDougall officiating. A Reception will follow at Noel & District Fire Hall.
