Burns, Helen Theresa – 75 of Five Mile River, passed away peacefully with family by her side in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on June 25th, 2023. Born in Upper Kennetcook on August 21st, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Alice (Gill) Beach.
Helen is survived by daughter Linda (Greg) Paul, grandchildren Timothy and Jenna, daughter-in-law Tracy White, sisters Marie (Paul W), Marion (Winston) and Rose. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, special friends she spoke daily with: Marie Head and sister-in-law Bernice Ettinger.
Besides her parents, Helen is predeceased by husband Edmund, granddaughter in infancy Shelby Lynn, nephew Timothy, niece Shelly, brothers-in-law Burrell, Albert S, Gilbert, Albert B, Frank, Emmerson and Laurie.
Cremation has taken place, A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, from 1 to 4pm in the Noel Fire Hall. A Private Family Burial will take place in the North Noel Road Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Helen can be made to the North Noel Rd Cemetery fund or to the Kidney Foundation – Kidney.ca.
